Palestinian young men on Monday evening saved a teenager after a horde of extremist Jewish settlers tried to kidnap him in Huwara town south of Nablus in the occupied West Bank.
According to eyewitnesses a group of settlers infiltrated into a neighborhood in Huwara town and savagely assaulted 17-year-old Muntasir Billah Dhamidi.
The eyewitnesses pointed out that the settlers also tried to kidnap Dhamidi but he resisted despite his suffering from a head injury before other local youths showed up and clashed with the assailants and forced them to flee.
A Red Crescent official in Nablus said that the boy was admitted to Rafidia Hospital for medical assistance describing his injuries as moderate.
The same settlers also attacked homes and damaged some windows of cars and stores on the outskirts of Huwara.
