Israeli settlers on Saturday attacked two Palestinian houses in the Old City of al-Khalil and threatened to seize them.

Anti-settlement activist Aref Jaber said that a group of Israeli settlers who took over a Palestinian house in al-Sahla neighborhood in the Old City a few weeks ago attacked two other houses in the same neighborhood on Saturday.

Jaber told Quds Press that the settlers hurled stones at the houses and destroyed their windows under the protection of the Israeli occupation forces.

The settlers insulted the two houses’ owners ordered them to leave the area and threatened to seize their houses by force.

Dozens of Israeli settlers escorted by Israeli soldiers three weeks ago broke into a Palestinian house in al-Sahla neighborhood in al-Khalil and seized it.

A group of Israeli settlers on Monday evening attacked Palestinian houses in the Old City of al-Khalil and assaulted an elderly man.

The PIC reporter said that scores of extremist settlers stormed the Old City showered a number of Palestinian houses with stones causing some damages and chanted racist slogans like “death to Arabs”.

He added that a group of settlers assaulted the Palestinian citizen Saad el-Din al-Batsh 71 while he was on his way home. The settlers were seen cursing and dancing around the old man who was lying on the ground. Neighbors who tried to intervene to help the man were attacked too.
