Settlers attack Palestinians during olive harvest near Nablus

Tuesday 9-October-2018

Dozens of Israeli settlers on Tuesday attacked Palestinian farmers in Talfit town south of Nablus and tried to prevent them from harvesting olives.

Anti-settlement activist Ghassan Daghlas said that over 150 Israeli settlers assaulted Palestinian farmers while they were picking olives in Palestinian lands located between Talfit and Qaryout villages.

Daghlas added that clashes broke out between the Palestinian farmers and the settlers until the latter fled the area.

Talfit and Qaryout villages are surrounded by a large number of settlements and settlement outposts that are inhabited by extremist settlers who carry out almost daily attacks on Palestinian citizens and their property.
