A horde of extremist Jewish settlers on Tuesday morning brutalized Palestinian farmers during their presence on their agricultural lands in Deir al-Hatab town in eastern Nablus.
According to local official Ghassan Daghlas settlers from the illegal settlement of Elon Moreh attacked a group of famers as they were collecting olives from their groves in Khilat al-Jaghoub area in the town and forced them to leave the area.
On Monday settlers from the same illegal settlement swamped Palestinian-owned olive groves in Deir al-Hatab with sewer water causing widespread damage to the trees.
Meanwhile dozens of dunums of land planted with olive and apricot trees also sustained damage when Jewish settlers flooded them with sewage from the West Bank settlement of Shavei Shomron.
In recent weeks Israeli settlers — with the help of the Israeli occupation army — started to sabotage the Palestinian olive harvest season through destroying and burning olive trees or stealing crops.
Jewish settlers repeatedly attack Palestinian-owned agricultural lands and property in the West Bank where there are over 200 illegal settlements and dozens of small outposts.
Incidents of terrorism and violence by extremist Jewish settlers against Palestinians and their property are a daily occurrence throughout the West Bank.
