Extremist Jewish settlers on Friday evening attacked Palestinian homes in the eastern area of Burin town south of Nablus in the occupied West Bank.
According to local sources dozens of settlers from the illegal settlements of Yitzhar and Bracha rallied on the eastern outskirts of the village before storming the village and starting to throw stones at homes.
However several local residents rushed to the area and confronted the settlers before Israeli forces showed up and secured the settlers’ withdrawal to their settlements.
A few days ago Burin villagers fended off a horde of settlers after they tried to break into the Sufan family’s house and destroyed 20 nearby olive trees.
