Jewish settlers stormed on Monday the courtyards of the holy Al-Aqsa Mosque under Israeli police protection.

The settlers entered the Al-Aqsa Mosque from the Magharabi Gate and performed Talmudic rituals in the eastern area of the Mosque and carried out provocative tours.

On Monday morning the occupation police blocked the maintenance and repair works in the holy Islamic site under the pretext of not obtaining the necessary permissions.

During the month of June more than 1741 Jewish settlers broke into the courtyards of Al-Aqsa Mosque.

Groups of Jewish settlers stormed on Monday morning the holy Al-Aqsa Mosque under Israeli police protection.

One of the Mosque’s guards confirmed that dozens of settlers broke into the courtyards of the Al-Aqsa Mosque from the Magharabi Gate.

The guard told the Arabi 21 news website that the settlers’ raids on Sunday and Monday occurred under the protection of large numbers of Israeli policemen which was different from the previous incursions.

The occupation police prevent the guards from carrying out their work and arrest some of them when they intend to prevent Jewish settlers from violating the sanctity of the Al-Aqsa Mosque by
performing Talmudic rituals inside it.
