Israeli settlers on Tuesday chopped down and seized 30 fully grown olive trees in Jaba’a village to the southwest of Bethlehem according to a local official.
Hassan Brejieh from the anti-wall and anti-settlement committee in Bethlehem told Quds Press that Jewish settlers from the illegal settlement of Beit Ayn built on Palestinian lands of Jaba’a cut off 30 olive trees in the eastern area of the village.
He pointed out that Jaba’a comes under repeated attacks by Israeli settlers in an attempt to confiscate its lands for settlement expansion.
