A horde of extremist Jewish settlers wreaked havoc on an olive grove and attacked Palestinian shepherds in different areas of Salfit province on Saturday evening.
According to local sources settlers last night uprooted and destroyed 15 olive trees in a grove in Yasuf village east of Salfit belonging to a local farmer.
Other group of settlers escorted by soldiers assaulted shepherds as they were grazing their cattle in an area between their village Qarawat Bani Hassan and the illegal outpost of Havot Yair.
Local sources said that Israeli soldiers also fired live ammunition and tear gas at the shepherds. Luckily no one was hurt.
