Dozens of Jewish settlers stormed on Saturday and Sunday various areas of the West Bank under the protection of the Israeli occupation forces (IOF).
On Sunday a group of settlers broke into Biyarat Saud area east of Tubas and spent the night in the Tayseer military camp which is built on the lands of the citizens.
Local sources told the PIC reporter that the settlers repeatedly raided the camp and stayed there for several nights.
IOF evacuated the camp several years ago while keeping some soldiers at the Tayseer checkpoint adjacent to it.
On Saturday Bashar al-Qaryouti anti-settlement activist said that settlers from the outposts of Ahya Aish Kodash Keda and Adi Ad attacked a house under construction on the outskirts of Qaryout village south of Nablus and tried to prevent its owner from building its roof under the protection of the IOF.
Hundreds of citizens repelled the attack forced the IOF soldiers to expel the Jewish settlers and were able to complete the construction of the home according to Qaryouti.
Meanwhile Fuad Al-Amour the coordinator of the Protection and Steadfastness Committee in the south of al-Khalil reported that a number of Havat Ma’on settlers stormed al-Tawana village in Masafer Yatta and threw stones at citizens’ homes under the protection of IOF.
Amour pointed out that a citizen was wounded in his head and was taken to the hospital for treatment.
He added that the settlers tried to assault the human right activists and the villagers confronted their attacks.
In al-Khalil eyewitnesses said that many settlers of Avigal settlement east of Yatta attacked a team of the Lands Settlement Agency and seized their GPS device while they were working.
Several Jewish settlers attacked a crew of journalists from Al-Jazeera near the settlement of Ramat Yishai in the center of al-Khalil and prevented them from carrying out their work.
