A horde of extremist Jewish settlers at dawn Wednesday sabotaged several Palestinian cars and defaced walls of homes in Deir Qaddis town west of Ramallah in the occupied West Bank.
According to local sources settlers from a nearby illegal settlement infiltrated into the town at dawn and embarked on puncturing tires of several cars and spray-painting graffiti on walls of homes.
The graffiti included incitement against a local resident called Mahmoud Qattousa who recently faced Israeli fabrications about abusing an Israeli child but later he was acquitted by an Israeli court of such accusation.
According to human rights groups incidents of terrorism and violence by extremist Jewish settlers against Palestinians and their property are a daily occurrence throughout the West Bank.
However Israeli law enforcement authorities exhibit extreme incompetence in addressing such widespread occurrence of settlers’ crimes.
The vast majority of investigation files regarding harm to Palestinians and their property are closed due to deliberate police failure to investigate properly. The deficiencies and flaws in the work of the Israeli police are clearly noticed at every stage of an investigation when the victim is a Palestinian citizen.
