Dozens of Jewish settlers defiled on Monday morning the courtyards of the holy Al-Aqsa Mosque under Israeli police protection.
Jerusalemite sources reported that the settlers broke into Al-Aqsa courtyards in groups and carried out provocative tours in the eastern area of the Mosque and near the Bab al-Rahma Gate.
Groups of Jewish settlers stormed the Al-Aqsa Mosque to commemorate the 11th anniversary of the killing of an Israeli couple who came from Russia and resided in a settlement in al-Khalil. They were killed in a resistance attack in 2010.
The daily settlers’ incursions take place in two shifts in the morning and evening through the Magharabi Gate in the Western Wall of Al-Aqsa compound aiming to change the fait accompli in the Holy City and Al-Aqsa Mosque.
