Several Jewish settlers stormed on Wednesday the outskirts of the Al-Tira neighborhood in Ramallah from the Ain Qinya town northwest of the city to perform Talmudic rituals under Israeli occupation forces (IOF) protection.
According to local sources the settlers arrived in the area with several vehicles to perform religious rituals.
In another development eyewitness reported that dozens of settlers broke into an archaeological Romanian site known as “al-Burj” in Al-Samou town south of al-Khalil under IOF protection. The settlers carried out Talmudic rituals in the site.
The archaeological “al-Burj” area witnesses frequent incursions by settlers especially on Jewish holidays. Al-Burj dates back to the Roman era and it contains the remains of a Roman church and next to it the remains of a mosque.
