Dozens of ultra-Orthodox Jewish settlers suspected of being infected by coronavirus stormed today Kifl Hares town north of the occupied West Bank city of Salfit and performed rituals in the historic cemetery area.
According to the Hebrew media the coronavirus infection has spread among many of the Jews who belong to the Breslov sect which visited the historic site in the town at dawn Monday.
The settlers who came from West Bank settlement and the 1948 occupied lands stormed Kifl Hares town without being prevented by the Israeli occupation forces which have been imposing movement restrictions on local Palestinians since the beginning of the coronavirus crisis.
Kifl Hares is exposed to repeated break-ins by Jewish settlers at the pretext of visiting holy graves but Palestinian officials and activists warn that such visits are aimed at controlling the ancient area of the town and turn it into a Jewish outpost.
