A group of Jewish settlers uprooted hundreds of olive saplings in Deir Sharaf village west of Nablus on Friday.
Local sources affirmed that the settlers stormed agricultural lands belonging to Abdul-Rahim Abdul-Hamid and Ghazi Antari and chopped down 300 olive saplings.
Last month the village had witnessed a similar settler attack when 600 olive trees were cut down.
In a separate attack another group of Jewish settlers seized a Palestinian-owned land in Kafr ad-Dik town west of Salfit.
Under Israeli troops’ protection the settlers confiscated 4 dunums of an 8-dunum land belonging to the local farmer Ahmed Younis.
Settler violence against Palestinians and their property is routine in the West Bank and rarely prosecuted by Israeli authorities.
Over 700000 Israelis live in Jewish-only settlements across occupied Jerusalem and the West Bank in violation of international law.
