Settlers uproot steal dozens of olive saplings in Jalud village

Wednesday 17-March-2021

Jewish settlers on Wednesday uprooted and stole dozens of olive saplings from a grove in Jalud village south of Nablus in the occupied West Bank.

Local official Ghassan Daghlas said that several settlers from the illegal outpost of Ahiya infiltrated into Sheikh Bishr area of Jalud village and stole 40 olive saplings after removing them.

The olive grove belongs to a local resident called Salameh Hamoud.

A few days ago the Israeli occupation forces (IOF) wreaked havoc on around 3000 olive trees in Deir Ballut town in Salfit province.

In a separate incident the IOF dismantled an agricultural room in the east of Yatta south of al-Khalil and seized it claiming the structure was unlicensed.
