After stealing loads of olives from the same area on Tuesday morning Jewish settlers wreaked havoc on Palestinian-owned groves planted with apricot and olive saplings in Sebastia town north of Nablus.
Sebastia mayor Mohamed Azem said that settlers from the illegal settlement of Shavei Shomron destroyed and uprooted about 700 apricot saplings and 200 olive saplings in a nearby Palestinian agricultural area.
Earlier the same settlers stole large quantities of olives from 18 dunums of land planted with fruitful olive trees.
Mayor Azem added that the settlers also set up barbed wire fences around a number of Palestinian agricultural lands in the area.
