The Palestinian ministry of health announced on Sunday that seven deaths 2000 new cases of the coronavirus were recorded during the past 24 hours.
The ministry said in the daily epidemiological report of coronavirus that 450 recovery cases were recorded in the same period 415 in the West Bank and 35 in Gaza Strip adding that five deaths were recorded in the West Bank and two in the Gaza Strip.
It pointed out that 57 critically ill patients were admitted to intensive care units while 94 others were being treated in the West Bank’s COVID-19 sections in various hospitals including 21 who have been placed on ventilators.
The recovery rate of the coronavirus reached 96.6 percent while the rate of active infections reached 2.4 percent and the death rate was 1 percent of all infections the ministry concluded.
