A Palestinian young man was run over and others suffered rubber bullet injuries during violent clashes on Wednesday morning with the Israeli occupation forces (IOF) in Am’ari refugee camp south of Ramallah.
According to local sources hundreds of Israeli soldiers stormed the camp from three sides spread through its streets and occupied some rooftops of homes while others broke into and ransacked several houses.
Consequently clashes broke out between local young men and soldiers in the camp where 20 citizens were reportedly suffered bullet injuries.
A military jeep also ran over a young man and soldiers rounded up at least six others during the events.
The IOF claimed its search campaign in the camp was intended to look for weapons.
