The Israeli occupation forces (IOF) kidnaped on Thursday several Palestinian citizens during dawn and morning raids on homes in Jenin and al-Khalil amid clashes with local youths and resistance fighters.
According to local sources in Jenin the IOF stormed Kafr Dan town and kidnaped a number of citizens who were identified as relatives and friends of the two martyrs Ahmed and Abdul-Rahman Abed (cousins).
One Israeli soldier was killed yesterday in a shooting operation that was carried out by the young cousins. One of them Ahmed was a member of the Palestinian Authority intelligence service.
The IOF also stormed other areas of Jenin and kidnaped two citizens from their homes in Kafr Ra’i town and another one from Jaba town.
Violent clashes with local youths took place during the IOF campaign in Kafr Dan town during which a teenager called Uday Salah was killed and three others were injured
Resistance fighters reportedly opened fire at Israeli soldiers and their vehicles during the IOF raids in the towns of Jaba and Kafr Dan.
In al-Khalil the IOF kidnaped four citizens from their homes in Sa’ir town.
Young men in Sa’ir town clashed with the IOF and forced them to escape after showering them with a hail of stones.
The IOF also kidnaped two citizens during raids in Yatta City and another one from his home in al-Khalil City.
