Sheikh Najeh Bakirat head of the Aqsa Academy for Science and Heritage has warned that the Israeli occupation state’s persistence in banishing Jerusalemite citizens from the Aqsa Mosque is aimed at paving the way for its plan to control and Judaize the Mosque.
In a statement on Monday Sheikh Bakirat accused the occupation state of seeking to create an administrative vacuum at the Aqsa Mosque through keeping its management and employees away from it in order to please extremist Jewish groups and impose its control over the Islamic holy site gradually.
He affirmed that the Israeli government its security apparatuses and temple mount group cooperate with each other and play various roles to Judaize the Aqsa Mosque.
The Jerusalemite official urged the Organization of Islamic Cooperation and the Arab League to take action against Israel’s banishment policy at the Aqsa Mosque.
He also stressed the need for a strong Arab position capable of pressuring the occupation state and making it feel the consequences of its violations at the Aqsa Mosque.
