Sheikh Ekrima Sabri head of the Higher Islamic Council in Occupied Jerusalem has described Israel’s expansionist plans and its construction of more roads and projects in east Jerusalem as “systematic practices aimed at Judaizing the holy city.”
In press remarks Sheikh Sabri condemned the Israeli occupation state’s actions in the holy city as “illegal and illegitimate” and affirmed that the Jerusalemite people would never recognize them.
He also stressed that the Jerusalemites would remain steadfast in defending their holy city and would never forsake their Aqsa Mosque.
