Sheikh Mohamed Hussein the Grand Mufti of Jerusalem has emphasized that the Palestinian holy sites and the holy city cannot be given up describing the US deal of the century as “an abortive plan” that “belongs to the dustbin of history.”
In the Friday khutba (sermon) he delivered at the Aqsa Mosque Sheikh Hussein called on the Palestinian Authority leadership the Palestinian people and all factions to come together to confront the US deal that target their national cause.
He affirmed that the massive Palestinian crowds at the Aqsa Mosque are the best response to all conspiracies targeting the Palestinian people and their holy sites.
“The Balfour declaration is the root of all conspiracies intended to end the Islamic and Palestinian presence in this region” the preacher emphasized.
He also denounced some Arab countries for being involved in the US deal of the century overstepping the Islamic and Arab norms and conspiring against their own religion.
