Sheikh Kamal al-Khatib deputy head of the Islamic Movement in 1948 occupied Palestine has condemned the Israeli assaults and crimes that happened in the holy city and at the Aqsa Mosque on Sunday.
“The brutality of the Israeli occupation forces at the Aqsa Mosque will not enfeeble us nor will it break our will” Sheikh Khatib said.
He expressed his belief that the amount of racism and insolence that Jewish settlers showed during the flag march reflected the type of the popular and electoral base of Israeli premier Naftali Bennett.
“The occupation government’s bullying of our people and its desecration of our holy sites will never shake our faith but it will increase our confidence in what we believe” he said.
