Sheikh Ekrima Sabri Aqsa Mosque preacher and head of the Higher Islamic Council in Occupied Jerusalem has warned that the repeated desecration of the Aqsa Mosque by Jewish settlers are aimed at imposing new faits accomplis at the Islamic holy site.
In press remarks on Tuesday Sheikh Sabri described extremist rabbi Yehuda Glick’s tour of the Mosque’s courtyards today as “aggressive” and “provocative” stressing that his persistence in defiling the Mosque would never give him any right to the holy site.
The Jerusalemite official applauded the Muslim worshipers who frequent and defend the Aqsa Mosque on a daily basis and expressed his regret and dismay at the Arab and international silence on what happens to the Mosque.
He called on the Palestinian citizens who are able to enter the holy city to continue visiting the Aqsa Mosque to defend and protect it against Judaization attempts.
