UMM AL-FAHM (PIC)– Sheikh Ekrima Sabri head of the Supreme Islamic Council and preacher of Al-Aqsa Mosque warned that al-Aqsa Mosque is facing a big danger due to the occupation ongoing practices and plans to Judaize it.

Sheikh Sabri delivered his speech on the occasion of the seventeenth “Al-Aqsa in danger” Festival where he was given the “Aqsa Supporter of the Year” award by the Islamic Movement.

He stressed in his speech on the dangers facing al-Aqsa Mosque pointing to remarks made by officials in the Israeli occupation saying that they will turn al-Aqsa plazas to public squares.

He pointed to the statement of the attorney general claiming that al-Aqsa Mosque is a part of “the state of Israel” and to other statements of a Knesset member demanding the division of al-Aqsa between Jews and Muslims.

Sheikh Ekrima Sabri asserted that al-Aqsa Mosque is above all negotiations and that Palestinian people will always defend it and confront all Israeli attempts to Judaize it.

The seventeenth al-Aqsa is in danger festival kicked off on Friday evening on Salam Stadium in the city of Umm al-Fahm where tens of thousands of participants flocked from al-Jalil Negev and Jerusalem.
