Sheikh Ra’ed Salah head of the Islamic Movement’s northern branch has called on all Palestinians to march en masse to the Aqsa Mosque to confront Jewish settlers’ intent to defile it in the coming days.
Sheikh Salah called for marking the first days of Dhul Hijjah at the Aqsa Mosque setting up Iftar tables for fasting people in its courtyards and allowing Muslim worshipers to resume their activities and all acts of worship at the holy site.
He expressed his belief that the Palestinians would never forsake the Aqsa Mosque which he said “is more precious than their souls and blood.”
