The Israel Security Agency Shin Bet on Sunday claimed that it has arrested a Palestinian cell in al-Isawiya town in Jerusalem for allegedly carrying out attacks against the Israeli police over the past months.
According to the Hebrew TV channel Seven three of the cell members are residents of al-Isawiya town while the fourth has an Israeli ID.
The Hebrew TV channel claimed that based on the interrogation results the four members were behind the arson attack that targeted an Israeli post for border guards near Hadassah Hospital in February.
The indictments filed against the four members to an Israeli court in Jerusalem include allegations involving manufacturing and possessing weapons participating in clashes attempting to attack an Israeli policeman and attempting an arson attack.
