Head of Hamas Movement in Gaza Yahya al-Sinwar praised Qatar for its role in supporting the steadfastness of the Palestinian people. He thanked the country for offering dozens of humanitarian construction and infrastructure projects which improved living conditions in the besieged Gaza Strip.
Sinwar’s office refuted rumors that followed his meeting with youth groups in Gaza on Thursday and claimed that Sinwar accused Qatar of not agreeing on the Palestinian reconciliation and being upset at the improved relations between Hamas and Egypt.
In a press statement on Sunday Sinwar said that all of what has been said in this regard is untrue and affirmed that there is no tension in relations between his Movement and Doha.
