Hamas chief in Gaza Yahya al-Sinwar left for Cairo on Thursday after receiving an official invitation from the Egyptian intelligence.
Hamas said that Sinwar received an invitation from Egyptian intelligence director Abbas Kamel to discuss issues of mutual interest.
Sinwar’s visit also aims to discuss with the Egyptian side Israel’s reluctance to implement the recent understandings over Gaza according to Hamas.
