Dozens of Palestinians in Qalqilya city participated in a sit-in held at the UNRWA’s hospital in the city in protest at shutting it down.
The participants carried posters condemning the UNRWA’s intention to close the hospital which affects the health services provided for Palestinian refugees in the city.
Fatah Movement along with the Popular Committee for Refugees as well as a number of pressmen convened on Saturday morning in order to address the hospital’s conditions and the UNRWA’s tendency to close the medical facility after the closure of the department of obstetrics and gynecology at the same hospital.
