The Palestinian ministry of health announced on Thursday that six deaths 1240 new cases of the coronavirus were recorded during the past 24 hours.
The ministry said in the daily epidemiological report of coronavirus that 277 recovery cases were recorded in the same period in the West Bank and 85 in Gaza Strip adding that five deaths were recorded in the West Bank and one death in the Gaza Strip.
It pointed out that 58 critically ill patients were admitted to intensive care units while 88 others were being treated in the West Bank’s COVID-19 sections in various hospitals including 24 who have been placed on ventilators.
The recovery rate of the coronavirus reached 97.2 percent while the rate of active infections reached 1.8 percent and the death rate was 1 percent of all infections the ministry concluded.
