The Palestinian health ministry on Saturday reported six new deaths associated with COVID-19 (coronavirus) 426 new positive tests and 496 recoveries in Palestinian areas during the last 24 hours.
According to its daily report four of the patients who died of COVID-19 and 220 of the new cases have been recorded in Jerusalem province alone.
The other deaths from the disease were recorded in al-Khalil province. They are two women from al-Fawwar refugee camp and Idhna town.
Although the number of new cases is still on the rise in Jerusalem the rate of recovery from coronavirus infections has seen an increase in Palestine reaching 55 percent.
Meanwhile there are 10 critically ill patients suffering the virus in intensive care units.
