Palestinian activists on Sunday evening launched a social media campaign in support of Birzeit University student Mohamed Hasan who suffers from coronavirus in al-Moskobiya detention center in Occupied Jerusalem.
The campaign is aimed at demanding the release of Hasan in order for him to obtain appropriate health care according to the activists.
Hasan secretary of the student union’s financial committee at Birzeit University was kidnaped from his home last Wednesday April 22 in Deir Sudan in northern Ramallah. The Israeli occupation forces also kidnaped other Birzeit students on the same day.
Israeli jailers last Friday isolated Hasan after he was diagnosed with the virus.
The campaigners called on all social media activists to participate in the campaign on Twitter to demand the release of Mohamed Hasan and voice solidarity with him.
