A social media campaign was launched on Saturday to save 16-year-old Abdul-Rahman al-Bashiti who has been in an Israeli jail for about two weeks.
The organizers of this campaign said that Bashiti had been exposed to interrogation sessions by Israeli officers in the jail despite his health suffering.
They urged international and local human rights groups to urgently intervene to pressure the Israeli government to release the Palestinian kid.
They also asked international and local media outlets to professionally cover and highlight the humanitarian issue of Bashiti.
The organizers stressed that the Israeli government would be fully responsible for any harm caused to Bashiti affirming that he suffers from diabetes and needs special medical care.
