Israeli soldiers on Monday physically assaulted a Palestinian citizen traveling on a road in Buwaira area near Kiryat Arba settlement in al-Khalil.
Eyewitnesses told the Palestinian Information Center (PIC) that soldiers intercepted the car of Hasan Abu Asnaina in Buwaira area and violently forced him to leave it before they started to search it thoroughly.
They added that soldiers tore the seats of the car during the search while others embarked on brutally beating Abu Asnaina with their hands and rifle butts.
Later the driver was released after he was held on the road for about one and a half hours.
