Israeli soldiers on Saturday evening kidnapped a Palestinian university student at a makeshift checkpoint on a road in the West Bank.
Local sources and eyewitnesses explained that 22-year-old Khaled al-Jabari a student at an-Najah University was stopped and kidnapped at an abrupt roadblock between the cities of Nablus and Tulkarem.
They added that soldiers intercepted the car he was aboard checked his ID card and then took him blindfolded and handcuffed to an undeclared place. The reason for his detention is still unknown.
