A number of international human rights and media organisations are planned to organize a protest vigil on Friday afternoon in solidarity with the Palestinian journalist and writer Lama Khater.
The vigil to be organized under the slogan Free Lama Khater is scheduled to be held outside the BBC headquarters in London demanding the release of all Palestinian journalists arbitrarily detained in Israeli jails.
Lama Khater a mother of five children was arrested on July 24 from her family house and subjected since then to tough investigation.
Four other journalists were also arrested last month at the hands of Israeli forces.
