TheSouth Korean government expressed hope Thursday for a peaceful resolution tothe latest Palestine crisis in which dozens of protesters were killed byIsrael’s use of force.
In astatement South Korea’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs called on the relevantparties to cooperate with the international community’s campaign to bring apermanent peace to “Israel” and Palestine on the basis of a “two-statesolution.”
Atotal of 62 Palestinians were killed and more than 3000 others injured duringthe two-day rally that started Monday in the Gaza Strip. It coincided with the ill-famed opening of the new US embassy in Occupied Jerusalem.
