Special units of the Israeli occupation army known as “Mistaravim” arrested on Wednesday evening a Palestinian young man near the Za’tara checkpoint south of Nablus in the northern West Bank.
Eyewitnesses reported that a group of “Mistaravim” stopped a vehicle in which a young man was traveling in the vicinity of the Za’tara checkpoint before arresting him and taking him to an unknown investigation center.
Meanwhile the checkpoint witnessed tight security measures by the occupation soldiers who checked the ID cards of the commuters.
A report by the United Nations Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs “OCHA” said that the Israeli forces carried out 184 raids and arrests over the past two weeks in the West Bank and that 158 Palestinians were arrested.
