A Palestinian young man on Wednesday afternoon suffered a bullet injury when Israeli police forces attacked local residents and students in the east Jerusalem neighborhood of at-Tur.
According to local sources police forces savagely attacked citizens and school students in at-Tur and injured a teenage student called Bassam Abu Isbitan in his foot with a rubber bullet.
Video footage showed police officers subduing the wounded student and hauling him all the way to a detention center in the holy city.
The forces also assaulted a number of students during the events.
In the morning the police blocked roads and obstructed the movement of Jerusalemites in different neighborhoods in and around the holy city.
