A Sweden-based NGO is planning to launch a new anti-siege sea voyage to the Gaza Strip in several months from now.
Spokeswoman for the Ship to Gaza Foundation Ellen Hansson told Anadolu Agency on Friday that they had bought a 20-meter-long ship from Britain to be added the convoy of other smaller ships adding that the convoy will set sail in May 2018.
Hansson added that the convoy of small vessels taking part in the campaign will be launched from France.
She pointed out that the International Freedom Flotilla also intends to join the campaign.
Hansson denounced the US president Donald Trump’s recognition of Jerusalem as the capital of Israel saying “This decision will bring tears not peace to Jerusalem.”
