Spokesman of the Hamas Movement Jihad Taha on Friday stressed that the Israeli plots to appropriate Palestinian heritage and legacy of historic Palestine constitute part of the Israeli fierce war against the Palestinians and their lands and sanctities.
In a press statement on Palestinian Heritage Day spokesman Taha said that the Israeli occupation’s desperate attempts to obliterate or alter the Palestinian national identity will be foiled.
Palestinian heritage is a “deep-rooted extension of the Palestinian history and civilization” and is strongly connected to their national identity and continuous struggle for freedom Taha affirmed.
He added that the Palestinian people will persist in protecting their heritage and defending it against the Israeli attempts to eliminate or alter it.
