Tens of thousands of Palestinians performed Friday prayer at al-Aqsa Mosque in Occupied Jerusalem amid very tight Israeli police restrictions.

Israeli police forces were earlier deployed in large numbers throughout the occupied city and near al-Aqsa’s gates.

Hundreds of worshipers were stopped and searched at the entrances to the Mosque.

Earlier in the morning thousands performed dawn prayer at al-Aqsa Mosque despite the Israeli restrictions.

Since the early hours of dawn thousands of Palestinians gathered at the gates of the site to pray confirming the Palestinians’ spiritual links to the holy site.

Similar gatherings were also reported in Nablus al-Khalil and Jenin amid the participation of Palestinian martyrs and prisoners’ families.

Last week Palestinian groups launched calls to intensify presence at al-Aqsa Mosque in rejection of the Israeli escalated Judaization schemes.

Tens of thousands of Palestinians performed Friday prayer at al-Aqsa Mosque in Occupied Jerusalem amid strict Israeli measures at its gates since the morning hours.

Since the early morning hours citizens gathered at the Al-Aqsa Mosque passing through its gates amid large presence by Israeli police forces.

However many West Bank worshipers were denied access to the holy site after Israeli occupation police forces checked their identity cards at the entrances to the Mosque.

A female worshiper was violently attacked when she tried to film the Israeli restrictions.

Earlier today hundreds of Palestinians managed to perform Dawn (Fajr) prayer at al-Aqsa Mosque despite the Israeli restrictions on Palestinian access to the site.

Citizens in a bus from Kafr Qassem town were blocked from heading to Al-Aqsa Mosque.

Two young men were also arrested near Bab al-Amoud one of al-Aqsa gates.

Meanwhile a large number of Palestinians performed Friday prayer at Jabal Mukaber Stadium in Occupied Jerusalem to protest the escalating Israeli demolition policy in the holy city.

During the Friday sermon the preacher stressed that defending the homeland against any aggression is a religious obligation.

The Almighty has legislated jihad in defense of the homeland money family and homes he added.

More than 130 Palestinian facilities are threatened with demolition in Jabal Mukaber neighborhood.

Israeli authorities regularly carry out demolitions of Palestinian-owned homes and businesses in the occupied West Bank and Jerusalem under the pretext that they were built without permits.

Tens of thousands of Palestinians performed Friday prayer at al-Aqsa Mosque in occupied Jerusalem amid very tight Israeli police restrictions.

According to the PIC reporter Israeli police forces were deployed in large numbers throughout the occupied city and near al-Aqsa’s gates.

Scores of worshipers were stopped and searched at the entrances to the Mosque.

During the Friday sermon al-Aqsa preacher Sheikh Ismail Nawahda stressed the importance of al-Aqsa Mosque in the Islamic doctrine.

Al-Aqsa Mosque is a purely Islamic mosque and no one except Muslims has a right to it he said.

In this regard he called for intensifying Palestinian presence in the holy shrine and protecting it from Israeli Judaization schemes.

He also pointed out that Israeli violations have recently intensified in the compound in total provocation to Muslims all over the world condemning the ongoing Israeli attempts to change the status quo in the holy site.

Sheikh Nawahda also called for putting an end to Israeli confiscation and settlement construction policies at the expense of Palestinian lands and properties.

On the other hand he stressed the urgent need to stand firmly behind Palestinian prisoners’ upcoming protest steps.
