Israeli prison forces broke into and ransacked cells in Negev jail last night provoking tension with Palestinian prisoners.
According to Asra Media Office a state of tension with the prisoners took place in Negev jail after forces from the Israeli prison service (IPS) raided cells.
Asra Media said that IPS forces carry out raids on cells of different jails and suppress prisoners repeatedly especially on Fridays and Saturdays.
Israeli jailers usually take punitive measures against Palestinian prisoners following such raids on cells but there was no information from Asra Media in this regard.
