The Israeli occupation forces began on Monday large-scale military drills on the Gaza border and the northern Jordan Valley.
The Israeli army spokesman said sounds of heavy explosions and buzzing will be heard all the way through the maneuvers.
The preplanned exercises reportedly make part of Israel’s drill agenda for 2018 which seeks to buttress the soldiers’ aptitude in projected offensives.
Over recent days tension has been running high in and around the blockaded Gaza Strip due to Israeli strikes on the enclave.
Overnight three Palestinian children were killed after Israeli warplanes fired shells on the enclave.
