The Israeli occupation forces at nightfall on Monday cordoned off Qalqilya’s eastern neighborhoods sparking terror among civilians.
Speaking with PIC local sources said Israeli soldiers have been deployed at the main entrances to Azzoun Gios Azab al-Tabib and al-Nabi Elyes among others villages east of Qalqilya in the northern occupied West Bank.
Israeli patrols chased down Palestinian anti-occupation youth and raked through residential neighborhoods on allegations that Molotov cocktails were thrown at an Israeli troop near Azzoun’s entrance.
At the same time a military checkpoint was pitched by the occupation soldiers on the eastern access road to Qalqilya blocking Palestinians’ access out of and into the area.
