The Arab Parliament has criticized the double standards in dealing with the Palestinian issue and the Ukrainian crisis and called for unified global standards in dealing with all issues to achieve international justice.
In a statement on Thursday the Arab Parliament affiliated with the Arab League called on the international community to apply international standards of justice to achieve a final just and sustainable solution to the Palestinian question based on an end to the occupation of all Palestinian territories the establishment of an independent Palestinian state with Jerusalem as its capital as well as the right of return and a fair solution to the refugee issue and other final status issues.
In its statement the Arab Parliament stressed its “firm position in supporting the Palestinian people efforts’ to regain their land and to realize all their legitimate inalienable rights guaranteed by international law and legitimacy.”
“The struggle of the Palestinian people serves as a model of resilience and strong determination” the statement said.
The Arab Parliament was established on 12 December 2012 as one of the League’s institutions.
