GAZA (PIC)– The Freedom list of the Islamic bloc has won the elections of the Engineering syndicates in the Gaza Strip for another three years after all rival blocs decided to withdraw in favor of the Islamic bloc.
The new bureau of the syndicate comprises Kanan Obeid and chairman Yaser Al-Shanti as vice-chairman Ahmad Abu Ras as secretary and Mohammed Al-Kahloot as treasurer in addition to the syndicate’s council members in the different branches in the Gaza Strip.
Obeid in this regard urged all members of the syndicate to join hands with the aim to develop its performance to serve the Palestinian public to the best it could.
The syndicate has around 8200 members so far working in the different fields of engineering in addition to being one of the most active syndicates in the Palestinian arena.
