More than 230000 citizens and visitors traveled through the Al-Kramah crossing in both directions last June.
The Palestinian Police’s Department of Public Relations and Information said that the movement of passengers during the month was active; the number of departures reached 111733 and 117536 of passengers entered Palestine.
Also the crossing police arrested 629 lawbreakers and people banned from traveling either as they attempted to leave the crossing or while waiting for entry into the Palestinian territories.
Moreover 33 medical cases were coordinated for travel from both sides of the crossing in Palestinian ambulances. Yet 108 citizens were returned by the Israeli border police for security reasons during the same period.
