Thousands of Jordanians took to the streets of Amman on Friday to protest Israeli provocations against al-Aqsa Mosque and in support of West Bank resistance.
Participating in a march in downtown Amman that was organized by the Islamic Action Front (IAF) party following the Friday prayer hundreds of angry demonstrators chanted slogans expressing their support for al-Aqsa Mosque and calling for action by Arab countries to protect Al Haram Al Sharif (al-Aqsa) the third-holiest shrine in Islam.
The protest also marked the 105th anniversary of the Balfour Declaration which is being described as a “fateful promise from those who do not own to those who do not deserve.”
The protesters raised Palestine flags and placards condemning the aggression of the Israeli occupation forces and settlers against Palestinians.
They also called on the Arab and Muslim countries to support the Palestinian resistance in the West Bank and all other areas across occupied Palestine.
